Originally housing Western Australia’s first dedicated public school library, the hall was re-purposed following the demolition of the old Melville Primary School.
Refurbished and renamed to Kadidjiny Park Hall in 2012, the hall has been available to all in the Melville community ever since.

Amenities in the hall include:
Kitchen with free tea and coffee and access to an urn, stove, microwave, fridge, cutlery and crockery
Furniture – tables, chairs and sofas
Internal toilets with nappy changing table
Equipment for hire – projector, TV, audio, visual equipment and storage space
